Cybersecurity is one of the few fields that still hires on demonstrated skill rather than degree. None of these three requires a computer science background to begin.
Coursera.
Designed for beginners with no prior experience. Covers security basics, tools, and the entry-level analyst role as it actually works.
Free to audit. The certificate itself is behind Coursera's subscription, so check the current terms before you plan around it.
Coursera.
Heavier than the Google one and more analyst-focused. Better as a second course than a first, unless you already have some technical grounding.
Same audit and certificate structure.
Skill India Digital Hub, Government of India.
The only one of the three where the certification itself is free and government-issued. Less globally recognised than the other two, more useful for Indian government-linked and PSU roles where a recognised national certification counts.
If you have no background, start with Google. If you want a certificate without paying, start with Skill India. If you already work in IT, go straight to IBM.
One completed course is worth more than three abandoned ones. The failure mode here is enrolling in all three in the same week.
It gets you past a filter. It does not get you hired. Cybersecurity hiring, more than most fields, asks what you have done rather than what you have studied.
Finish one course, then build something small and public with it. That is the part employers read.
