Most people applying for jobs in India use one site. There are sixteen below, split into two groups that work in opposite ways.
Understanding the split matters more than the list itself.
A recruitment agency is hired by a company to fill a role. You register once, and a consultant contacts you when something matches. You are not competing against a thousand applications on a listing page, because the listing may never be public.
A job platform is a listing board. You search, you apply, you compete openly. Volume is much higher and so is the number of people applying beside you.
Use both. Registering with agencies is a one-time cost that keeps paying; platform applications are ongoing work.
Six of the eight platforms above lean towards experienced hiring, and the tech-focused ones assume a portfolio.
The two most useful entries here for a first job are TeamLease, which handles high volumes of entry-level hiring, and Naukri, which has the widest fresher coverage of any Indian board.
Register with two or three agencies anyway. It costs an evening and the calls arrive months later.
An agency is paid by the employer, never by you.
Any consultant asking a candidate for a registration fee, a placement fee, a training charge, or a refundable deposit is not running a recruitment business. Legitimate agencies on this list and off it are paid on the employer side.
