Google runs a set of professional certificates aimed squarely at people entering a field with no degree in it. They are the most commonly recommended courses on the internet and the most commonly abandoned.
The list is below. The two sections after it matter more than the list.
Each of these is a multi-course programme designed to take several months at a few hours a week.
Days rather than months. Useful as a test of whether a field interests you before committing to a certificate.
The Coursera courses can be audited free, meaning you watch the material without paying. The certificate requires a Coursera subscription.
That distinction decides whether these courses are worth your time. If you want the knowledge, audit is enough. If you want the certificate line on a CV, budget for the subscription and finish inside one billing cycle, which is what most people fail to do.
Check the current terms on each page. Coursera changes them.
If you have no technical background and need a job soon, take IT Support or Data Analytics.
If you are a commerce or humanities graduate, take Project Management or Digital Marketing.
If you already work in tech, skip the certificates and take the Machine Learning Crash Course, which is free outright.
Do not take three. The completion rate on these is low, and the reason is almost never difficulty. It is starting four and finishing none.
